Plans, develops, and administers the company's employee benefits programs including health and wellness, income protection, retirement, and related programs. Makes plan design recommendations regarding program enhancement and controlling costs. Ensures compliance with federal and state legal and tax requirements and prepares and files required reports. Answers complex employee questions, interfaces with benefit vendors to resolve routine problems, conducts benefits portion of orientation, and counsels employees on types of coverage.
Process, coordinate and perform technical work related to eligibility determinations and administrative actions inherent in the processing of all claims and inquiries in accordance with existing regulations, policies, procedures, directions, orders, and other guidance.
