Plans, develops, and administers the company's employee benefits programs including health and wellness, income protection, retirement, and related programs. Makes plan design recommendations regarding program enhancement and controlling costs. Ensures compliance with federal and state legal and tax requirements and prepares and files required reports. Answers complex employee questions, interfaces with benefit vendors to resolve routine problems, conducts benefits portion of orientation, and counsels employees on types of coverage.


Process, coordinate and perform technical work related to eligibility determinations and administrative actions inherent in the processing of all claims and inquiries in accordance with existing regulations, policies, procedures, directions, orders, and other guidance.


Required Skills


Job Reponsibilities:



  • Review claim file and supporting evidence.
  • Make recommendations to Army client for disposition of claim.
  • Provide research and analytical support on medical conditions, military history, and other sources of information.
  • Present findings to the client in a concise and convincing manner.
  • Process claims in accordance with quality and time requirements.

Required Skills/Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of military-related experience and demonstrate knowledge of military terminology
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology
  • Possession of excellent analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented

Required Experience



  • Associates or BS degree in health or related field
  • Experience military medical environment preferred
  • Experience in insurance or claims analysis
  • Knowledge of military healthcare or VA benefits
  • Ability to formulate and present arguments in a convincing manner
