Responsibilities

  • You will ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards, safeguarding a clean and appealing guest environment.
  • We expect you to replenish room supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom supplies to maintain adequate levels for guests.
  • You shall remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from rooms and suites to promote a tidy space for our guests.
  • You will be responsible for notifying maintenance of any issues within the rooms or common areas that require attention, ensuring swift action can be taken to resolve them.
  • We expect you to vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean windows in each assigned area, contributing to the overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our facility.
  • You shall greet guests in a friendly manner when encountered during your duties, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay.
  • You will strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to ensure both your wellbeing and that of our guests.
  • We expect you to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure that all assigned rooms are attended to within the given timeframe, maintaining high productivity and service standards.

Requirements

  • You must be able to perform a wide range of cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products, ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • You should possess the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet the high cleanliness standards we set for our guests' experience.
  • We expect you to have excellent time management skills to effectively manage your daily cleaning schedule while remaining adaptable to unforeseen changes or requests from the housekeeping supervisor.
  • You need to demonstrate effective communication skills, capable of understanding instructions and conveying information clearly to colleagues and supervisors.
  • We require that you handle all guest interactions and their personal belongings with respect, discretion, and integrity, ensuring privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
  • You should have physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, bend, and lift up to a certain weight to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the hotel spaces.
  • You will be expected to promptly report any damages, maintenance problems, or safety hazards identified in guest rooms or common areas to the housekeeping management.
  • We ask that you continuously seek opportunities to improve room presentation and guest satisfaction, providing feedback and suggestions to the housekeeping leadership.

  • Someone who can lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.
